Throughout the Playtech offices, colleagues organised various activities to recognise and promote mental health support and inspire positive change. Here are some highlights to showcase how different offices commemorated the day.
Playtech Live, Latvia, recognised World Mental Health Day throughout the month of October by organising various activities related to mental health, including webinars, workshops, and yoga sessions. All employees were greeted to each session with a tasty treat and with the following motivational quote:
‘Be the one to brighten someone’s day with a smile, share the warmth of a hug, or offer a kind word of encouragement to those who may be facing difficulties. Let’s unite as a source of unwavering support for one another.’
On the 10th October, PTMS employees came together to raise awareness and promote mental well-being in a serene and rejuvenating art therapy session. Employees were given the opportunity to unleash their creativity on blank canvases, expressing their innermost thoughts and emotions through the strokes of a brush. The results were visually stunning and deeply emotive, reflecting the diverse range of experiences with the PTMS community.
Continuing the focus on holistic wellbeing, on 18th October, PTMS organised a special workshop on functional breathing. Renowned instructor Anna Grozdanova, a certified Wim Hof method instructor, shared valuable insights into the power of functional breathing techniques and their positive impact on overall health. Employees were not only enlightened about the importance of effective breathing but also had the chance to practice these techniques, leaving them feeling rejuvenated and equipped with new tools to enhance their well-being.
Playtech Gibraltar organised a ‘tea and talk’ event which encouraged colleagues to discuss mental health by playing some ‘ice breaker’ mental health focused games, whilst enjoying some delightful snacks. The team also set up a mental health wellness board in the reception area, where employees could share words of encouragement and support for one another.
The team would like to express their gratitude to colleagues who made their valuable contributions towards making a difference and getting involved. Together, this creates an opportunity to help promote mental health awareness and make mental health support accessible to everyone.
