General

Yes, you can apply to multiple roles with the same profile on your SmartRecruiters account. We always recommend to our candidates that they write a brief paragraph outlining their motivations for applying to any roles with us

We do not set application deadlines for our positions. We keep the recruitment cycle open until we have closed our roles. To avoid disappointment, we recommend you apply at your earliest convenience.

Our standard turnaround time for open roles is 48 hours. We endeavour to get back to you within this time frame, however, depending on the volume of applications we get this might not always be possible, so please be patient with us!

Our job descriptions are carefully crafted with our hiring managers to ensure that we are properly representing the skills, experience and behaviours required for our positions. Read these carefully and if you feel they align nicely with your skillset then apply directly!

There are some basic tips and tricks that we can recommend to set yourself up for success if you’ve received an interview request with us.

1 – Learn as much as you can about Playtech. This website is a perfect place for you to understand what we do and what it’s like to work here.

2 – Use your Talent Acquisition Partner to learn as much information about the people you will be interviewing with and the team that you would join if you were successful. The Recruiter is your perfect ally to help set you up for success.

3 – Be yourself! As cliché as this may sound, if you’ve landed an in-person interview, it means that you already meet some of the core competencies we are looking for, so don’t be afraid to bring your whole self to the interview.

We endeavour to get back to all candidates who have interviewed with us in person within 7 working days with an outcome. When this is not possible, your recruiter will be in touch to provide you with an update – even if that means that there is no new information to share. As soon as we have a decision on the outcome, whether you are successful or not, we will always let you know as we appreciate your time and efforts.

When a new position becomes available, our Global Talent Acquisition team meet with the hiring manager(s) to fully scope out the requirements of the role, establish a recruitment process timeline and agree on evaluation benchmarks. Interviews are then conducted and evaluated against the agreed benchmarks. We look out for technical skills, behavioural competencies, experience and/or education as well as cultural fit.

Our roles do not typically carry relocation or housing support. However, this is something that you can inquire directly with your recruiter about as some positions will carry this additional benefit.

Interview Process

We believe that a fast recruitment process is always the best. We endeavour to move as fast as possible through the process with all our candidates. Our standard recruitment process involves these *4 steps*. However, from time to time we might need to add more steps to our process – e.g. testing – in order to get a well rounded view of your competencies.

We like to keep our interviews as intimate as possible, so we always invite the people who are most relevant. Typically, we limit our interviews to a maximum of 3 people, each with different skills and perspectives to help us form a well-rounded view of our candidates.

We aim to keep interviews to an hour or less where possible.

Yes, your Talent Acquisition Partner will provide you with the names of the persons you will be interviewing with and their roles at Playtech.

We recommend you dress in a smart-casual manner.

Our recruiters are there to set you up for success. If you have never interviewed before, be sure to let your Talent Acquisition Partner know. They will then be able to provide you with some great tools and tips to ensure you have a successful interview and positive experience during your recruitment process with us.

We recognise that during the early interview stages you might want to meet via video conference and we are happy to accommodate this where possible. However, all candidates are expected to meet our hiring panels in person at some stage in the interview process.

Interview/Test

We may use tests as part of our recruitment process. These allow us to identify candidates’ strengths and areas for improvement and help us determine whether you would succeed in the role we are offering.

No, not all roles we offer have a testing requirement. It depends on the role you are applying for and our recruiters will let you know if you would be required to go through a test round during your first chat.

Where possible we like to host our tests in house. In certain circumstances, there are specific portals/servers that candidates would need to connect to in order to complete their tests. In other circumstances, tests can be completed online. Our Global Talent Acquisition team will advise you as part of their initial chat with you.

We always endeavour to get back to you as quickly as possible. However, as a general rule we aim to let you know within 7 days of taking the test, along with detailed feedback.

Positions that have testing requirements will vary in terms of their difficulty level. The more complex the role, the more challenging the test will be. This approach gives our hiring managers the necessary information they need in order to make educated decisions related to hiring.

Decision

We endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible after your final interview. Our hiring panel will review the benchmarks we’ve assessed our candidates against and will also discuss amongst themselves in order to come to a decision. This process can take between 48 – 72 hours.

If you are the successful candidate, your recruiter will reach out to you via phone and will make you a verbal offer of employment. If you have not been successful, your recruiter will send you a personalised email with the opportunity to schedule a phone call if you would like more detailed feedback.

Once you’ve confirmed your verbal acceptance of our offer, your Recruiter will follow up with a written offer within 24-48 hours. You should sign the offer and return it to your recruiter who will then follow up with further details related to your preboarding process.

We let all candidates who interviewed with us know the outcome of their interviews via email. If you would like more specific and detailed feedback you can request a call with your recruiter for this.

Yes, once we your signed offer of employment, our dedicated HR team will work with you to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding eperience. They will be there every step of the way to answer your questions and guide you into our company.
